To help keep dogs happy and relaxed during this time, experts at leading animal welfare charity, �¼������ϲʿ���, have created a of tranquil music, from the soft sounds of Bach to idyllic piano sonatas, to help make the season more enjoyable for the whole family.

Janine Pemberthy, Canine Behaviourist and Training Manager at �¼������ϲʿ���, said: “Fireworks season can be a worrying time for our pets, but thankfully there are many things you can do to help them relaxed, including playing some calming music to distract them and help to mask the noise of fireworks. �¼������ϲʿ���’s playlist includes a range of classical music that doesn’t have a repetitive beat or any sudden loud noises to create a soothing environment.

“Listening to our carefully curated playlist alongside following �¼������ϲʿ���'s other useful advice like setting up a cosy 'safe space’ for your pet as a quiet retreat and closing the curtains to muffle the sight and sound of fireworks will help to keep them happy and stress-free. If they are still extremely stressed by fireworks after following �¼������ϲʿ���’s advice, consult your vet for guidance.”

When developing the playlist, �¼������ϲʿ���’s experts took inspiration from the music that is played for animals in the charity’s kennels, using soothing melodies to create a serene environment for pets and their owners. It includes over three hours of music for dogs to enjoy and can be played on a loop for as long as it’s needed.

�¼������ϲʿ��� has plenty of tips for keeping your dogs safe during fireworks season, from slightly altering their schedule to make their dinner time and walks earlier before fireworks are likely to go off, to making sure their microchip details are up to date.
