�¼������ϲʿ���

A two-year-old Lurcher called Farley has been given a second chance thanks to the support of his dedicated Foster Carers, after spending eight months in the care of leading animal welfare charity, �¼������ϲʿ���.

Farley was brought to �¼������ϲʿ��� after being found as a stray and proved to be a gentle and friendly young dog but was worried of his surroundings and struggling to find the right match. �¼������ϲʿ���'s behaviour experts decided that Farley would benefit from spending time on foster in a peaceful setting to get his mojo back and help him to find his ideal home.

Foster Carers, Naomi and Gary, volunteered to take Farley home, using tips and advice from the charity to build his confidence and support his training. Soon enough, the sweet Lurcher was showing off his loveable personality and could often be found snuggling as close to his Foster Carers as possible on the sofa for a snooze or chasing his tennis balls around the garden.

Talking about fostering Farley, Naomi said: “Despite being quite reserved when he first came home with us, Farley proved himself to be a gorgeous dog who had lots of love to give and just needed a bit of encouragement in a quiet setting to come out of his shell. He was such a character, and it was really rewarding to watch him grow in confidence during his time with us, especially on our walks in the countryside which quickly became his favourite part of the day.”

Thanks to Farley’s Foster Carers, �¼������ϲʿ��� was able to find out more about his personality to find his perfect match in Essex, where he settled into family life right away. 

�¼������ϲʿ��� is looking for more Foster Carers living near Old Windsor centre to sign up to its Fostering programme and help the charity to be there for every dog and cat. With costs, training and support taken care of, fostering is an ideal way to enrich your life with the love of an animal whilst improving the lives of dogs and cats in �¼������ϲʿ���’s care.

Talking about Fostering, Naomi added: “Gary and I both love dogs and wanted to try something new and we were delighted when we heard about �¼������ϲʿ���’s Fostering programme. They provide everything from training and medical care to food and toys, so it really is a fantastic way to spend time with dogs whilst supporting animals who need it most. Twelve years and almost 50 dogs later, we’ve got no plans to stop and would recommend Fostering to everyone.”
