Abigail is a gentle and sensitive dog who is looking for owners that can help her build her confidence. She is based at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in Abigail, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Abigail can be worried of the outside world - she can be easily spooked by loud noises and is working on building her confidence while out and about. Her new owners will need to be confident in reading dog body language and have lots of time and patience to help slowly build positive experiences for her to grow in confidence.

She loves her treats and using food will be a good way to start her basic training and continue positive association to new experiences. Abigail is also very playful with toys and loves to play with people or create a game of her own.

Abigail has shown a mix of worry and independence around other dogs, due to this we feel it is best for her to be the only pet in the household at this stage. She will benefit from calm and steady walking buddies to help her socialise and build her confidence around other dogs.

Due to her worry, Abigail is looking to live in a home with a private and secure garden and in a location away from very built-up areas and busy roads.
