Ella is an exuberant and adventurous Beagle who is looking for an active home that are willing to put in additional training. She is based at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in Ella, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Ella is still young and is a busy dog who will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. She is looking for very active new owners that have had experience with Scent Hound types and are familiar with their breed traits. Ella would really benefit from doing additional activities such as agility or scent work to keep her brain occupied.

Ella has lived in a home previously, was house trained and she travelled well in the car. She hasn’t been left on her own before and she is looking for a home with people that are around most of the time, who can build up her time alone slowly.

She may be able to live with an existing dog in her new home, though she can be very enthusiastic in her play style and any dog she lives with will need to be tolerant of this and be a good role model for her.

Ella does need some ongoing training around being handled as she can show worried and avoidant behaviours around this. She is very bright and has a food drive so this will help with any future training.

Ella loves her toys and her favourites are balls and squeaky toys, she doesn’t always bring them back but will happily run after them.
