Rita is a sensitive Lurcher who is looking for new owners that can support her and build her confidence. She is based at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in rehoming her please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.
Once Rita has made friends with people, her fun side starts to shine through and she loves to run around our paddocks. It may take some time for her to build a bond with new people so is looking for a quieter home.
Rita is looking to live with another dog in her new home as she gets a lot of confidence from them and loves to play. She is looking to live with a dog friend of a similar size and does prefer females. When on walks, Rita can bark at other dogs so would need a role model friend that can teach her how to interact with dogs in a calmer and appropriate manner.
Rita has shown some worry when walking around our site and may not be used to the outside world. She will need to live in a quieter location with a private and secure garden as this will help with her confidence building.
Rita enjoys playing with soft toys and will happily run around, chasing after them.
